博士，毕业于中南大学工商管理专业，MBA，英语语言硕士学位，目前正在攻读Staffordshire University（斯泰福厦大学）教育硕士学位。学习期间，曾在SCI与其他顶级期刊中发表论文；曾在多所大学中担任全职教授和客座教授，拥有十多年的中外合作办学项目/机构的教学与管理经验；致力于运用这些经验解决实际问题，协助澳门新莆京游戏app大厅的师生实现自己的学术和专业目标，进而成为终身学习者。
主要分工：全面负责英方教学和学术，联系英国斯特灵大学，进行科研项目合作、国际项目合作，分管英方办公室。
Waseem Ahmed Abbasi has received his PhD Certificate in Business Management from Central South University. During his doctoral studies, he has published papers in top journals including a paper in SCI. In addition to this, Waseem has got MBA, Masters in English Linguistics and currently, pursuing his Masters in Education from Staffordshire University. To be an effective educator and leader, Waseem has obtained several certificates in teaching and education. For example, he has attained Postgraduate Diploma in Education, Postgraduate Certificate in International Education (PGCIE), CELTA and TEFL. These certifications helped him to better serve the students and academia.
Waseem has been teaching for almost a decade. He started his professional career as a high school teacher where he used to teach Business Studies to O & A level (Cambridge Board Exams) students. Later, he joined the banking industry and got associated with the top banks of Pakistan. During his banking career, Waseem took over leadership roles and delivered successful results. Subsequently, Waseem went back to teaching industry and started working as a visiting faculty for SINO-American Joint Programme. Later, he commenced working as a full-time and visiting faculty for various, reputable public and private universities. He mostly taught on the SINO-Foreign joint programmes. He also worked as an Assistant Director of International Affairs for a private university where he helped the university to sign MoUs with foreign universities.
Waseem’s education and experience has helped him to realise the underlying problems faced by students, teachers and academic institution. Therefore, he aims to empower students and teachers to achieve their academic and professional goals in our college that is diverse, welcoming, and inclusive for all students, faculty, and staff members. He further aims to strengthen cultural understanding of both China and Britain among students and faculty members through offering them opportunities to study languages, cultures, the arts and the history and through encouragement of further studies and research.
